Moranne is designed to ask for less, explain why information helps, and keep you in control of what is saved or shared.
What stays on this device
A guest camping draft and remembered next-time notes are stored in this browser. They do not automatically follow you to another device. Starting a new preparation removes the current device draft after confirmation.
What is connected to your account
When you choose “Save to My Moranne,” the plan, checklist progress, planning choices, custom items, and optional reflection are connected to your signed-in account. People you add to My People are also account-connected.
What Moranne does not need
You do not need to provide medicine names, diagnoses, exact birth dates, or other sensitive details to create a plan. Health, access, sensory, and dietary questions are optional planning signals, not medical records.
Sharing
You can share a text copy or create a personal plan invitation. A collaborator enters a display name to accept, receive assignments, and label their changes. Shared plans contain checklist tasks, progress, assignments, and collaborator display names—not questionnaire answers, people profiles, reflections, or health-related planning. Links expire after 30 days and can be revoked by the plan owner. Send each editable invitation only to the person you intend to join.
Recommendations and data
Moranne does not sell personal preparation data. The current beta does not contain paid product placements or affiliate recommendations. If that changes, recommendations and any financial relationship will be labeled near the recommendation.
Product analytics
Moranne uses limited first-party product analytics and Google Analytics to understand visits and improve planning quality. Google Analytics may use cookies and receive information such as page visits, approximate location derived from an IP address, browser, device type, and interactions. Moranne’s own analytics record actions such as starting or completing a plan, saving, sharing, printing, dismissing an item, and encountering an error. Moranne does not send names, notes, reflection text, custom-item text, or the full planning answer set to Google Analytics.
Your controls
You can remove people, archive plans, permanently delete previous plans, and download a copy of your Moranne account data in My Moranne. Account deletion is not yet self-service in this beta; contact hello@moranne.com for help. We will not pretend that control exists before it does.
Limits of guidance
Moranne helps with preparation. It does not replace campground rules, weather and emergency alerts, product instructions, or professional medical, veterinary, legal, or safety advice.
